Give thanks! + Holiday shopping 💛
Friends, let us give thanks! What is on your gratitude list this year?
By late fall, I am always grateful for the way the world feeds us. I look in our storage spaces filled with winter squash, cabbage, onions, and apples, and I feel a deep sense of peace just knowing that another season is complete and we have food for the cold months ahead.
But our family’s list of thanks goes beyond the foods on our table this time of year. We are grateful for new jobs and opportunities, mountain biking, our friends and family, health, our cozy home, and more.
What yummy vegetables will be on YOUR holiday table this year?

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, holiday shopping season is upon us! There is so much more to this season’s magic than gifts of course. To me, the holiday season is special because of the music, twinkly lights, extra time with friends and family, special foods, celebrating with our faith communities, and sharing stories of hope in the darkness.
But, gifts are a big part of the magic too, as we connect with our loved ones near and far and offer them tangible offerings of our affection. Perhaps you are like me and are making lists of the independent or local businesses that you will support during this season of giving. More than ever, this year I want to prioritize supporting other artists and business owners who share my values and offer unique products.
Perhaps I might be an artist you want to include on your list this year? My vegetable mugs make perfect winter gifts for farmers, gardeners, chefs, and foodies. And, I now have matching sticker sheets available on my website too! Shop stickers here!
Two important notes about holiday orders for my U.S. customers: Place orders by December 12 to guarantee delivery by December 25! Also, through the end of the year, I’m offering free shipping for all orders over $40! Use code FREESHIP at checkout.
As we go into this holiday season, I hope you can stay present to the joys in your life and remember to offer others (or yourself) comfort over the sorrows and hardships too. While this can be a cheerful season, it can also be a challenging one for many. Let us be lights when and where we can.
With gratitude,
Katie
